Posted by Jared E. Holland | Mar 10, 2025 | 0 Comments

Is it time to update your estate plan? Changes in your life affect your daily decisions. Similarly, life's changes may necessitate some adjustments to your estate plan. If any one or more of the following apply to you, your family, your successor personal representative/trustee(s) or heirs/beneficiaries, it may be time to revisit your estate plan:

·         A birth, adoption or death

·         A relocation

·         A change in marital status

·         Special or changed needs and concerns

·         Beneficiaries or trusted helpers develop overspending, drug, gambling, or other undesirable habits

·         A desire to change guardians, personal representative, power of attorney, trustee or beneficiaries.

·         A desire to include a charity as a beneficiary

·         Children or grandchildren have reached adulthood.

·         A substantial increase or decrease in the value of your estate.

·         The acquisition or disposition of real estate or any other significant asset.

·         Three or more years have passed since the creation/last review of your estate plan.

·         The creation or acquisition of a business interest

If any of these apply to you, please do not hesitate to contact our office at 623-250-7890 to schedule a time to review your estate plan.
